How to make simulink masked subsystems open as separate windows?

2 views (last 30 days)
In previous versions of matlab, simulink subsystems and masked subsystems would open in separate windows by default. This is no longer the behavior and I don't see any settings to fix this (simulink preferences are very minimalistic).
You can do this for subsystems by doing a shift-double-click, but I don't see how it can be done with looking under masks.
Thank you!

This is currently not possible. We are looking into this for a future release.
As a workaround, you can show the model browser, show Systems with Mask Parameters and then SHIFT+click on a masked block there.

Hey Guy, thanks for the quick response!
The model browser solution is a very acceptable workaround, and I like the (middle-click pans) and (scroll-to-zoom) features very much. They were much needed.
Thanks for all your hard work!
