Accepted answer

The word "simulation" is mostly used for using Simulink, but also MATLAB users create simulations. I recommend the great interactive turorials:

But as a partly humorous note: "Can anyone give me a brief guide of starting simulation in matlab??" sounds as would you ask "Can anyone give me a brief overview of mathematics in 10 minutes?" :-)

They're just a few simulations, but for what it's worth, I've attached a few of my Monte Carlo Simulations. Maybe it will help you get started. Of course there are a billion other things you could simulate in MATLAB.

Opportunities for recent engineering grads.
