How has he mated the platform with the tire in the following video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJO2GLA_2L0

In the video we get to see that the platform remains in contact with the tire all the time. I tried making a similar model. Made the whole setup on Solidworks. But when i run the simulation the platform in my model goes through the tire.On mating the platform with the tire it acts as a rigid body and simulation doesnt take place. Also i would like to ask how to input an actuating signal in the video. I am only able to enter constant force.

Hi Sandeep, Simscape Multibody (previously SimMechanics) doesn't model contact by default, i.e. bodies may penetrate each other during a simulation and you won't see an error message. There are certain ways to model contact, how about starting with that solution? Best regards, Christoph
