Implement Precision Time Protocol 1588 in MATLAB.

Hi Guys,
My Project is :-
1) Implement Precision Time Protocol in MATLAB.
There are two computers, one running a Master Clock and one running a Slave Clock.We want to synchronize them and let them communicate with each other. Currently I already have ptpd on 2 ubuntu Laptops.
But now I want to program the same functionality in MATLAB.
Like how to program Sync Message, Announce msg, follow_up msg, Delay_req msg, Delay_resp message , PTP Common Message Header etc. Then these PTP Messages will be encapsulated into UDP Packets , since UDP packets are actually used for communication between two systems on a Network.Also then i would like to analyse the Synchronization accuracy between Master Clock and the Slave Clock.
Also I couldn't find anything like examples ... as we always have something on Mathworks website and Documentation to start with. But this time everything is Abstract :( I do not know where ti start from and what to write.
And there has to people who are already working with PTP in MATLAB. Could you please give some contact or forums or technical support.I am pretty sure there is someone working with these things :)
And do I need the Simulink Real Time toolbox for the things I described above.I am unable to visualise how things will look like.How do things will look, or is it like drag and drop things on Simulink Real -Time and then i can simply analyse things and do syncing between 2 computers.
