When I try to uninstall matlab and also when I try to reinstall matlab I get the error:
''Unable to create documentation-center.html page''
How can I solve this, because I want to uninstall matlab and reinstall it with all the components.

Same here, using 2013b under Ubuntu Linux. Everything works fine but the documentation. Tried reinstalling several times/different ways. Everything works after installation but the documentation (as expected). Paul C.s solution did not work for me :-( See this screenshot:

Hi, just wanted to add what worked for me if anyone else runs into this problem. Installing student 2014a on mac 10.9.5 you have to first grant the installer permission to read/write. After that the documentation html problem went away, but then Matlab hung and quit after trying to activate. Deleting the license file under home/.matlab/r2014_licenses/ fixed it and we were able to startup without any problems.

I solved the problem by deleting the whole program files from the directory and installing Matlab a second time.

Hello ! I have the same problem. Did anyone have found a solution ? I wanted to install a demo version of the compiler but as I had a problem during the installation of Matlab (which works fine) I cannot install the compiler. I have the same message "unable to create documentation-center.html" if I want to install or uninstall a component. The technical service told me to reinstall Matlab but I can't either.
Thanks !

The solution is the following : -delete manually the Matlab folder in your programs -Reinstal Matlab but without internet connection, meaning with the "file installation key" and the licence file. Then Matlab should install correctly. I hope this will help someone.
